Family tradition.
After my grandfather was killed, my grandmother had to move from the ridge route to town with her two children. It was all terribly distressing for all. My mom had attended a one room school, and HATED Bakersfield high. She told me she went most days to dewars, and had a milkshake. When she married and had us, she would get the peanut butter chews very rarely, and they were like gold.to her, and therefore to us. And she only shared a tiny few. So now. As a 75 year old woman, im again ordering a bunch. But I'm going to share so the love of your chews will go down at least two more generations. Thank you so much for keeping the wonderful taffys alive .
